Exciting Things at Tormach Headquarters

This coming weekend is Tormach’s 3rd annual Open House event (July 23), and we’ve got quite a show planned! Year-over-year, we’ve had different seminars and talks from our Brand Ambassadors, and this year is no different. Wes Bye, who writes for Digital Machinist and is a PCNC 440 owner, will be talking about model engineering. John Saunders will be doing two talks, one – co-presented with a team from Fusion 360 – will cover lathe CAM and turning, and the other is about bootstrapping startups.

Tormach Is Hitting the Road

Madison Mini Maker Faire

Tormach is hitting the road for a number of awesome events around the country, starting in our own backyard at the Madison Mini Maker Faire in Madison, WI. On Saturday May 14, we’ll be making an appearance at the Monona Terrace in downtown Madison to show off the PCNC 440.

A Field Trip to See John Saunders

What happens when you combine nearly 400 machining enthusiasts, a panel of YouTubers, and a few metal-working companies? You get the Saunders Machine Works/NYC CNC open house.

A Packed House at #Tormach2015

Tormach’s 2015 open house (#Tormach2015) went off with resounding success. Tormach’s technical staff spent the day giving seminars and presentations on various aspects of the Tormach machinery, and guests mulled through an Open House Only Sale.

A Busy Weekend at Tormach

Last Saturday, we hosted our second annual open house, and it was a smashing success. Over 200 guests stopped by to see an array of seminars, meet John Grimsmo and John Saunders, and buy a few goodies in our credit-and-carry sale.

Tormach's Second Annual Open House Just Hours Away

Our second annual open house opens tomorrow, bright and early at 8:30. We were hoping to have 150 visitors registered before Saturday, instead we managed 192! There is still room, so RSVP and help us reach 200. Last year’s first annual open house was a fantastic success, but this year we’re looking to set the bar higher with seminars on everything from CAM and workholding to small business applications for Tormach equipment.
