Jake Laser, also known by his YouTube channel name as JLaservideo, is an American YouTuber who creates a wide variety of challenge videos and such. His challenges are based on Marvel heroes and other content. He joined YouTube on October 26, 2012. Jake likes to show off radical, often pop culture-inspired inventions and “hacks” and his creations, which range from Spider-Man web shooters to miniature crossbows. He currently has more than 2.87 Million subscribers.

Jake Laser, a Vermont native, is a physics major with a math minor, and has been producing engineering-based videos and distributing them through the massive media-sharing platform YouTube since his sophomore year of high school. By fall 2019, Laser was awarded YouTube’s Golden Play Button after reaching 1 million subscribers and became one of only 17,000 of YouTube’s 1.8 billion users to have achieved this milestone.

Jake currently is using a Tormach 770MX to help prototype and make parts for his inventions.
