Machine Way Oil (1 Gallon)

Way oil (aka way lube or slide oil) is a type of hydraulic oil with a tackifier, an additive that makes it adhere to surfaces. Way oil is commonly used as a lubricating oil for slideways or anywhere machine parts move over the top of each other.

Way oil holds in place, so slides are lubricated, reducing friction. Specifically formulated to eliminate stick-slip in machine tool applications, this oil provides smooth movement under heavy loads. In addition to reducing wear of machine tool slideways and ball screws, this non-corrosive oil:

• Provides excellent metal wetting and surface adhesion
• Resists mixing with coolants and metalworking fluids
• Prevents rust and surface oxidation of slideways and ball screws
