USB Camera for PathPilot-Controlled Machines
This 2 megapixel camera is housed in a coolant-proof metal case and features IR LEDs to enable recording in low/no light conditions. Starting with v2.10.0, PathPilot supports recording video and audio from USB cameras. Customers can plug up to 4 cameras into a controller and record from multiple angles simultaneously (depending on processing power of the PathPilot controller - older controllers may only support one camera). The USB cable length is extra long to enable flexible routing options through the enclosure and along the machine to the controller.
PathPilot allows manual start/stop of video recording via buttons on the user interface as well as automated photo/video capture via G-code commands. A ‘dashcam’ feature will, when enabled, always record the 30 seconds of video prior to an ESTOP event, including a screen capture of the PathPilot screen before the ESTOP occurred. For more information on camera features in PathPilot, please refer to the user manual and PathPilot release notes.
