What happens when you combine nearly 400 machining enthusiasts, a panel of YouTubers, and a few metal-working companies? You get the Saunders Machine Works/NYC CNC open house. We spent the weekend in Zanesville, OH talking with the masses in John Saunders’ new shop. Various vendors were there, both showing their wares and giving away goodies in the raffle, including American Rotary, who is both a Tormach customer and fellow Wisconsin-based organization.
Other than all the Tormach machines in the room, another spectacle of interest was FlexArm, who was tapping 2” holes in steel throughout the day. Autodesk was also in attendance, and they filled a room with eager CNCers hoping to gets some valuable tips and tricks with Fusion 360. If you haven’t seen NYC CNC’s YouTube videos, be sure to subscribe and check out the Wednesday Widgets which are sponsored by Tormach.
