Mechanical engineer by trade, Max Jensen used his personal PCNC 1100 to make a custom license plate bracket for a Suzuki GSXR600 motorcycle.
When Max Jensen’s friend asked him to design a custom license plate bracket for his Suzuki GSXR600, his goal was to replace the stock fender with something both functional and aesthetically pleasing. Jensen used SprutCam to create a 3D part with multiple work setups to make the final design. “I didn’t have any significant design challenges,” he said. “This was the first time I machined a complex piece on my mill and I learned a lot during programming.” A mechanical engineer with experience in aircraft structure design, Jensen enjoys working on hobby projects that challenge his PCNC skills to make things others would enjoy. Up next for Jensen is a fly fishing reel project.
