Chip removal is essential for proper cutting. When chips aren’t cleared properly they can weld onto the tool, cause discrepancies in the cutting precision, and even cause premature wear on your mill.
Flood coolant is often used to keep chips out of the way, as well as lubricate and cool the cutting tool, but sometimes flood coolant isn’t available or economical for a certain operation. That’s why we offer the Fog Buster Spray Coolant Kit (PN 32682).
Recently, we released an upgrade kit for our fog buster – a second nozzle. The upgrade (PN 35578) adds a second nozzle to our current system, providing more chip removal and improved cutting lubrication without the mess of flood coolant.
