As we continue to develop innovative and affordable products to better serve our customers, we find it necessary to review our product offering and how it aligns with the long-term goals of the business as well as availability from our partners and suppliers.
After careful consideration, Tormach has decided to discontinue the manufacture and sale of our PSG 612 Surface Grinder (PN 32789). The standard warranty terms will be honored for all units shipped to date.
We appreciate and value your partnership and we regret any inconvenience this announcement may cause.
Tormach is committed to providing the highest level of customer support to all PSG 612 owners. Please read below for key timelines and support options that are available to you:
|End of Extended Warranty Contract Renewal Date||The last date to extend an extended warranty contract for the product.||4 Years from Last Sale Date|
|End-of-Support (EOS)||No further Technical Support will be provided once the End-of-Support (EOS) timeline is reached. Tormach will maintain spares and Technical Support capability 5 years from the Last Sale Date and throughout the life of all warranty and/or extended warranty contracts currently in place. As of the EOL date, any new/renewed extended warranties will only be issued through the EOS date. Beyond the EOS date, all Technical Support will be self-service via available documentation.||5 Years from Last Sale Date|
|End-of-Life (EOL) Notification Date||The date that Tormach announces and distributes the end-of-life product notification.||11/17/2021|
|Last Sale Date||The last date to order the product through a Tormach’s website. The product is no longer for sale after this date.||11/17/2021|
|Last Ship Date||The last possible ship date that can be requested of Tormach and/or its resellers. Actual ship date is dependent on lead time.||11/17/2021|
Tormach’s standard warranty applies for purchases of any new/remaining PSG 612 Surface Grinders in inventory. All new purchases are warranted against defects in material and workmanship for a period of 12 months from the date of delivery. Maintenance & Spare Parts Availability and Support:
Although our Supply Chain and Technical Support teams will do their best to accommodate your needs, we may not be able to offer maintenance or repair parts if spare parts stock gets exhausted and we are unable to obtain it from suppliers. We will make every attempt to source viable solutions until the End of Support (EOS) term.
