Tool Height Setter, Dial Indicator

Measure and set tool lengths on your machine to a consistent reference with this tool height setter. This tool is particularly useful for MX owners as BT30 tools cannot be measured on a surface plate using the Tormach Tool Assistant. The contact surface is lightly preloaded with a spring to prevent damaging tools should you over run the gauge's zero point. Gauge is graduated in 10 micron increments.

This tool includes a ground dowel pin used for calibrating the dial indicator's zero point to the gauge's upper ground reference surface.
